Tyres that are legal in wintertime are stamped M+S on the side of the tyre. But if you havent been driving in wintertime before, you should get spiked wintertyres for winter.

"Tyres with spikes" are called studded tires. Like others said these are probably the best choice for you if you are inexperienced winter driver (best friction in icy conditions).
Studded tires are illegal in most European countries. If you are planning to drive frequently outside Nordic countries you should then consider some other type of "M+S" marked tires.

Studded tires = nastarenkaat in finnish

Non-studded winter tires = friction/traction based tires = kitkarenkaat in finnish

Spiked Tires are more like these in my opinion.

Think dirt bikes have more proper 'spikes' in theyr spiked tires than in car tires.

Can also find Studded tires with more and longer studs on them. Used in rally cars more often.

Both probably are illegal in normal Finnish road use.
