Sweet  :o.

Miten teknisten tietojen muuttamiseen muuttamalla auton koriin?

Is car originally 850R or was it 850 AWD? I assume you have took AWD system and engine from V70R AWD and put it on 850R?

Are you using translator when you posting messages? I see that you using English language pack on forum.

if English is easier do not fear use it...  some of us understand English  ::)

Yes, my English is somewhat better than the Finnish. :) To convert from Finland I have to use an online translator.
You're absolutely right - this car is originally 850R (1997). All drivetrain, rear suspension, fuel and exhaust systems are taken from the Volvo V70R AWD (1998). The engine did not change, stay on 850 (B5234T4, was in a much better condition than the donor's one. The recently passed a full range of works from an authorized dealer). They are identical in everything except the fuel rail. This, together with the fuel line from the V70. In fact, technically the car at the moment is a stock V70R
Some mods that I plan in the near future:
- BSR Chip
- CCI Box "Carbon Charger Intake" från Simota
- Simons exhaust from cat to bak divorced on two sides
- 3" Ferrita Downpipe
- Original 18" Pegasus wheels
- Original S60R Brakes
- KW coilover variant 2

It's OK, my English is not perfect too ::)
It is very unfortunate that you have in Finland are strict laws in this area. :( My opinion - a similar project can not bring anyone harm. In any case, no more harm, than any other stock car.
I know that such projects are built in different countries:
In England - 854R AWD, like mine, only with gray color exterior and beige interior. And the car-donor is not the R, it's simple 855 AWD http://forums.t5d5.org/topic/15067-volvo-850r-awd-saloon/ (http://forums.t5d5.org/topic/15067-volvo-850r-awd-saloon/)
In Norway - 855 T5R T-Gul AWD, there are some videos of it on youtube.com
In Sweden - two C70 AWD
It seems that there is another 854R AWD in the USA ....

Thank you! But currently there are no new photos, the car is not fully assembled, is in boxing since July - waiting spare parts. The fact that, not all required spare parts to converting to AWD, taken from a donor car. And the V70 was not a donor in the literal sense.
Originally there were two cars: my 850R manual transmission, and my friend's V70R AWD Automatic.
I needed an AWD. Because I was planning to increase the capacity of my car. At the same time to burn tires, I do not like. Naturally, I needed only a manual transmission.
My friend wanted a FWD. Because he planned to decrease operating costs of his car. FWD with manual transmission can significantly reduce fuel consumption, spare parts are cheaper and easier to get (spare parts for AWD's, basically, only the original, and only under the order. The waiting time in the absence of a warehouse in Moscow - more than a month), repair easier (for example replacement fuel pump for AWD is much more laborious than the FWD), the reliability of a manual transmission is also much higher than the automatic.
So we decided to rearrange everything from 850 to V70, and vice versa.
But, I ordered myself a new box M58H, new flywheel, new clutch completely (cylinders, tubes, among others). Because all these parts from my car now installed on V70. Waiting for the transmission took about 1.5 months. Well, in the middle of July, all brought. But it turned out that all sorts of small things missing, which, by VIDA, to be together with the gearbox. Again the order, and nearly as many expectations .... Then I decided to order (it's all in V70 was not in the best condition, and quite new is always better than second-hand ;D) the front drive shafts (left and right), and cardan shaft, and still something.Expected to ship the last batch of spare parts - 15/10/2011
waiting ....
By the way, Pegasus wheels and S60R brakes already brought ;)

Agreed, your english works way better ;)

This is one ambitious project - something you don't see every day. Keep it up!

BTW if you want to keep posting images, details and updates of the unfinished car - you could consider asking moderators to move this to "Projektipäiväkirjat" (project diaries) - I think alot of people would enjoy following this more closely. S*
