We tried to few options but in the end that awful sound came from injectors. Ive been really close to but bottom bearings....but luckily i have not. I never suspect injectors at all but once I swap one injector with my friends volvo then sound came down a bit...then another one of the same mate and sound nearly gone. We decide to buy all 5 refurbished. Works absolutelly beautiful.
Before I bought set of injectors I took them out to garage for test. They said that they works fine what was not fully true. Phisicaly they worked but electronically not really.
£500 for 5injectors solved problem.
