Taitaa sieltä solenoidi löytyä. Pystyykö tuolle kotikonstein tekemään jonkinlaista testiä?

Our DIY Help shows you how to replace an AC Control Valve in a Volvo XC60. Saved about $450 from having it done by Volvo (part was $120 plus an AC service of about $180). This was on an XC60, but same part is used on the S60, S60 Cross Country, S6OL, S80, V60, V60 Cross Country, V70, XC60, XC70. Symptom of having a problem with the control valve was the AC not cooling, but AC coolant levels were fine. The AC Control Valve part number is 31436166 for this repair.
I had the R134 extracted from the system before doing this replacement, but I'm not sure you need to do that. I think there is a schrader valve this unit pushes into and if that's the case you don't need to remove the coolant (or do an AC service). Once I confirm I will update this comment.
Finally, the control valve in this video got stuck which made replacing it more of a challenge. Hopefully you don't have the same issue with your vehicle.
